Enrolment terms
Registering for a course creates a place held in your name. A deposit of at least 30% reserves that seat; the full balance is due before week 2 of the course.
- A cohort opens only when it can run properly. A group course is confirmed once it reaches its published minimum paid enrolment. Until then your deposit holds your seat and is fully transferable.
- The registration fee is non-refundable where a course charges one. It confirms your learner record and is shown separately from tuition on the course page.
- Group intakes run to the published schedule. If a class must be moved, you are told at least 48 hours ahead and the hour is made up.
- One-to-one hours are booked with your teacher and expire 12 months after purchase. A session cancelled with less than 24 hours notice is treated as taken.
- We do not guarantee a test score. We guarantee the teaching, practice and feedback published in the course's curriculum map. Practice and mock scores are indicators of readiness, never a prediction of an official result.
- Assessed work is your own. Assessments are completed independently under timed conditions. Any use of AI must be declared; it may support brainstorming or noticing language where the task permits, and may never generate an assessed response.
- Course completion is awarded against the criteria published on each course page — typically an overall grade threshold, a participation minimum and the submission of all assessed work.
- We may decline or end an enrolment where conduct makes teaching the class unreasonable. Unused hours are refunded in that case.
Refunds
- Before an intake starts: full refund of tuition up to 7 days before the first session; 50% within 7 days. The registration fee is not refunded.
- After an intake starts: no refund, but unused hours may be transferred once to another course or a later intake.
- One-to-one hours: unused hours are refundable within 30 days of purchase, less any hours taken at the standard single-hour rate.
- If a cohort does not reach its minimum paid enrolment: your deposit and any balance paid are refunded in full — including the registration fee — or carried to the next intake. Your choice.
- If we cancel: a full refund of the unused portion, or a transfer, whichever you prefer.
- Deferral: you may defer once to the next intake before week 2, at no charge.
Refunds are returned by the same method used to pay, within 10 business days.
Privacy
We collect only what is needed to teach you and to meet our record-keeping obligations: your contact details, your enrolment and payment history, your attendance and your marked work.
- We do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing.
- Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored on our servers.
- Class recordings are kept for the duration of the course plus 90 days, and are visible only to that class.
- You can ask for a copy of your record, or ask us to delete it after your course ends, by emailing study@eloqua.edu.
